Grew up in Allentown, Pa and went to 12 years of Catholic Schooling.  In High School in my junior and senior year, I played Volleyball.  I played as a player/coach on a team that went to the 1978 National Junior Olympics in Fort Collins Colorado where a bronze medal was won and I was honored with the MVP award.  Went to college to play volleyball at East Stroudsburg University where my senior year we were rank nationally at number 12.  We fell short losing in a quarter final match to Princeton that was our only loss that season and became a crossroads in my career.  I decided to pursue golf as a career and moved to Florida in 1985.   I had been working in golf to have money through college, so the career is traced back to 1978 when my dad facilitated my first golf job at Allentown Municipal.  My career in golf gained momentum when I joined a management group in 1990.  I started opening several courses with GT of Orlando that includes many courses in Central Florida.  My biggest turn in golf came when I joined Billy Casper Golf in1999.  This took me back to the NE and soon found me as a Regional Manager for the company.  My career with them has been to open new courses or turning courses in trouble around. I did this up till I made the decision to come back to Florida. This was fueled by the fact that my children were all in Florida and when the position came open at Ocala Golf Club I immediately applied.  I hope to make Ocala my last stop and spend the rest of my career here.  I became part of the Marion County Junior Golf board at the invitation of Steve Albright.  I believe that our program will reach out to juniors that may not think golf is an option and let them experience what the spirit of the game is.  Golf is about character and it teaches our youth how to succeed in a fun, safe and enjoyable atmosphere.
